New trends in 2018 that make your home to be sold faster

Several new forms of digital access to the real estate market have arrived in order to facilitate the processes of selling and renting homes. One of them is augmented reality, which allows you to try different styles of furnishings from a computer. Also, the use of drones to capture aerial views of buildings or vacant land - like we do in the Balearics as well - means that it is easier to show potential customers the exteriors of the property and its surroundings.

The price of urban land is in an upward trend: the last quarter of 2017 closed with a rise of 7.8% with regard to the previous year, according to the Spanish Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Madrid, with 485.7 euro, Barcelona, ??with 447.6 euro, and the Balearic Islands, with 375.1 euro, are the places that appear on the list of provinces with the highest price per square metre.

Finally, buying a house in order to rent it as a holiday residence has become a very profitable business in our country, especially in areas with the highest influx of tourists, such as the Balearic Islands. Because of this trend, long-term rental prices have risen sharply, which leads to increased pressure on selling prices.
